As a QB I rather have Wimbush than Gibson.

While I agree with this, I'd still take Gibson over Wimbush. If Gibson can't get the job done at QB, switch him to WR and U've got an all-american. Can't do that with Wimbush.

PS - No, I'm not assuming either would fail at UM, but it's possible.

I think both would succeed here tbh but Gibson has superstar potential at 2 positions which you cant deny

I'd respectfully disagree with that because if you lose Ridley, you also lose Burgess-Becker. And I'm not sure if his younger brother intends to play at the same school, but it could also possibly hurt our chances with 2016 WR Cavin Ridley. While Phillips is obviously very talented, Ridley is apparently our top priority alongside Gibson.

Ridley > Phillips, IMO, even if he wasn't a package deal with SBB.

I wasnt literally bringing them up for this class but if it was just between those 2 players and nobody else considering you would take either guy because they're elite future #1 wrs at their position as is Winbush and Gibson as stud starting qbs in the future

Other then McFadden idk who has really said this and we can also say Winbush may bring Fitzpatrick with him too so at least in that case it seems like they're even there
