All of that is accurate. I thought KP was the better player in college, and his best years in the pros were better than BM's best years in the pros. But yes, overall, BM had the better career.

The Philips brothers were among a very large group of my favorite Canes. They were both fun to watch play and root for. It looked like KP was going to be an absolute stud when he first got to the league, not sure what happened.

Love em both but KP was a freak. Was it at Duke where we were beat up at CB and he started there and had 3 INTs? He was just on some very bad teams and injuries derailed his professional career unfortunately.

Merriweather was much more impactful. Kenny was the victim of a bad team his junior year though...he and Calais kind of began the trend of our draft-eligible dudes taking a big step back in their money year (in terms of on-field production).
