the kid doesnt seem like one to de-commit, this is just gettin blown up bcs the west coast writers have been raving for them to offer him

Is it too late to get back on the Edouard bandwagon?

WE DIDN'T MEAN IT ALIN

/or maybe a phone call to Treon

Kid sure seems like a Cane. Has gotten a lot of love from boards and staff. We keep winning and THE U is, well, THE U. UCLA is, well UCLA and that is not much. Fourth maybe third best team in Pac 12, fifth once USC settles on new coach. Brad goes to UCLA and we never hear about him again. Come to THE U, and competes for starting job on NC team in next four years. In the end it is his decision.

We all want him here, but Al has a process and that process has options. Williams, Olsen, and even Crow in another year, all can compete. Brad take a hike, Al will bring in whoever he has mind for just such an occasion. I doubt Al will be left at altar again, ever. I think the kid come here, but if not our ability to recruit gets better and better every day. Golden in on a mission and no single recruit will slow the GOLD train down.

Seriously nobody should rip the kid or give up on him until it happens which I doubt he will do. I swear anytime theres an idea a kid may decommit everybody ***** themselves just calm down and see what happens

he was our #1 target at QB and recruited him before all other schools while he was their plan D. Our staff won't let him forget that.

But yea, not good.

Pete reported this was coming.

Brad's mother

@angela_means: Brad received offer from Mora today. UCLA is an awesome program that he respects, at this time he is committed 2 The University of Miami.

I just thinks it's funny how miami offered and locked this kid up months ago and mora just got around to watching him play and offering him. Ucla is the home team but you have to stick with the guys that have stuck with you.

Mildly concerned? Always. Panic time? Not really.

Yeah, its the hometown team. But UCLA sucks, and HAS sucked for a long time now. USC has run SoCal now for a long time, and UCLA, while a great school, is not exactly the place to showcase your skills before a national audience.

The ONLY thing here that can work against us is the distance. EVERYTHING else favors us. We are CLEARLY a program on the rise, whereas UCLA looks to be in the same mediocrity it has been for decades. We offered him first. We made him a national name, and stuck by him, and handed him the keys to this class. UCLA treated him like an afterthought, and even AFTER all this time, NOW they get around to offering him? After they struck out with all their other options? Flattered? ****, Kaaya should be INSULTED. F*CK UCLA.

As smart and thoughtful as this kid and his mother have been, I would be EXTREMELY disappointed if he screwed us over for UCLA. HOmetown team or not, they have treated him like plan D all along, and why go waste away in a mediocre program that isnt even the main draw in its own city?? When you have a chance to jump on board a championship program that is clearly reestablishing itself as a national power, and on the rise?

Shouldn't rip him at ALL. KID has done nothing wrong, regardless of what happens as far as staying committed.

"WE" who is "we" lol. You mean BRAD Put in the WORK to make himself a national name. UM hasn't been there since he was a LIITLE KID busting his *** training, working with private instructors, flying to college/Nike camps, etc...... honestly do people realize how hard most of these kids work to get ANY offer in the first place. When you get offered by big time schools such as UM, Ucla, SC, Texas, uga, Uf, etc..... That means you put in A ****LOAD of WORK throughout your childhood trying to perfect your craft and you where blessed with very good genetics.

How is ucla stuck in mediocrity? They are ranked higher than we are. With USC having problems Ucla has an opportunity to gain a lot of ground in a hot area. Do agree with you though about him being their plan d. That speaks volumes right there

Talk about delusional. UCLA doesn't suck (ranked ahead of us if you didn't notice) and they have a lot to offer Kaaya.
