dorsey played in the NFL longer than Kaaya. Dorsey even started games.
BK out the league?

I think BK was a better QB then KD thing is Dorsey had a mean OL and stacked, its like AJ Mcaron dudes blows and the other guy before him that does cfb live. They sucked but there teams were stacked, bama took Butchs blueprint

theres other factors though throughout the game man way more then just stats man, a missed PAT and etc, if I sat here and blamed JW for the loss to UF when there are many factors as well coaching, youth, mistakes (coaching) all types of ****

Kaaya was a good qb. Not great, but good. He just didnt live up to the massive hype that built up around him out of nowhere.

Your favorite past time, data mining Kaaya.

Same game... 2015

He threw for over 400 yards, we rushed for 20

Meanwhile, Cook ran for 222 on his own.

Yeah, "choke job"

Not bashing Kaaya he played his *** off for 3 years here and was a great player but to say he was our best qb since Dorsey is ridiculous. When I think of Ken Dorsey I think of wins. No qb after him won **** except for Brock Berlin.
There are other people involved in the win-loss equation. People whine about Kaaya not beating FSU, when he had an excellent 2nd game against them with over 400 yds, 3 tds, no INTs, and almost 60% completion....but lost because the rest of the team didn't do their part.

It don’t matter what else went on in a game when you have the opportunity to win regardless. Just like it don’t matter that the tackles were getting beat against Florida, Jarren still had an opportunity to win.

I already showed you how Kaaya choked the last drive against FSU in 2015. Here is a similar result in 2016 against ND... oh and remember Diaz was the DC in 2016 not Dorito.

Miami Against Notre Dame 2016

Second to last drive tied 27 to 27...

  • 1st & 10 at MIAMI 18
    (5:42 - 4th) Brad Kaaya pass incomplete
  • 2nd & 10 at MIAMI 18
(5:22 - 4th) Mark Walton run for a loss of 4 yards to the MiaFl 14
  • 3rd & 14 at MIAMI 14
(4:58 - 4th) Brad Kaaya pass incomplete to Ahmmon Richards
  • 4th & 14 at MIAMI 14
(4:43 - 4th) Justin Vogel punt for 49 yds , Chris Finke returns for 23 yds to the MiaFl 40

We lose the Game

You know it’s QBs in cfb that have actually thrown however many TDs it takes to win a game bc they have what it takes to be a winner? I know crazy stuff, but y’all keep making excuses for why Kaaya always came up short.

You guys need to go back and watch some of the games Dorsey actually played. He was a great person, teammate, and leader--all of which matter at QB--but was an awful passer. If he's not throwing to all-time greats, behind an all-time great LT, with all-time greats at RB, he would have been worse than Rosier because he rattled easily and could not move. Dorsey threw wounded ducks that were often off target where the receivers adjusted and made great plays, which made him look great when he was not. He had an under 60% career completion percentage for Pete's sake, throwing to shockey, winslow, Andre, Santana, Roscoe, Reggie, Portis, Najeh, and more!
