I'm just as guilty as others here about following the latest thoughts from Lunardi regarding his bracket. With that in mind, consider the following chronology:
January 22nd bracket: Arizona State and Nevada are 6 seeds; Gonzaga and Louisville are 7 seeds; St. Mary's is an 8 seed
January 24th: Nevada loses by 1 @ Wyoming; Louisville loses @ Miami in OT; (ASU, St. Mary's, and Gonzaga haven't played since last Saturday)
January 25th bracket: ASU falls to a 7 (An idle ASU falls? Perhaps others have shown more this week?)
Nevada falls to an 8 seed (Wow -- lesson learned, don't ever lose @ Wyoming!)
Louisville rises to a 6 seed (WHAT?!? I guess a loss in Coral Gables MEANS something!)
Gonzaga rises to a 6 seed (WHAT?!?! How on earth do you swap two teams, ASU and Gonzaga, that have both been idle for 5 days!)
St. Mary's rises to a 7 seed (perhaps they had a few good practices during their idle period?)
So, this week's lesson is to enjoy the off days, because you could improve your seeding by doing nothing. And, if you do decide to play a game, play in S. Florida (where a loss may improve your seed), but never in Laramie (where 1 point means 2 spots). And you really have to feel for ASU, who doesn't play but loses ground to another idle team and a team that loses its only game.
