TBH I think Arkansas is almost a guaranteed loss, but losing to UCF would be more damning...that would be like Randy losing to USF in 2010.

We can only hope that finishing 6-7 after having an unmotivated team hopefully does the trick.

Since Navy runs the same offense as GT, our brillant defensive game plan would be to concentrate on limiting Navy's big passing plays.

Call it Brilliant Plan Part II.

I don't care about this bowl game, I'm in full on mope mode. only reason this game will have any substance is if we get blown out the pressure cooker will heat up fairly quickly

As much as I am discouraged about the state of this program and agree that the pressure cooker would absolutely heat up, I still see at least some value in ending the season on a good note. The last game is what leaves a (relatively) good or a bad taste in recruits' mouths for 7-8 months. Personally I would really like to leave Tim Irvin and the rest of the 2015 kids with a small glimmer of optimism about the program. Even if it is completely false/temporary optimism.

WTF is the point of that? Better to just take our medicine now and get it over with.

The best case scenario would be Miami vs UAB in some bowl. UAB would win and their kids/staff deserve it and then both schools could shut down their programs since neither has an administration interested in football..

UCF would be really cool. I'm all for instate games, even if it is under s***ty circumstances. Plus I think Miami would handle them and quiet all the Orlando crowd and their growing love for their Knights. It's a very similar situation to the college football climate in Michigan (Where I'm from) a few years back. Central Michigan beat Michigan State one year and all of a sudden CMU was supposed to be a better program than MSU by all the slappys from Mt. Pleasant (where CMU is located). 3-4 years later and CMU is a middle-of-the-pack MAC program again and MSU wins the Rose Bowl. Things tend to even out.

I wouldn't mind Arkansas. Don't give us some crappy school that will be an easy win and end the season on a fake moral high note. If you end the season with a win, earn it. But, I'm okay with this coaching staff being further exposed. I want a win for Duke Johnson and Denzel but I don't want fake Golden pressers about how it was a successful season because we got our first bowl win in years.
