Bowl Predictions?

What is everyone thinking? Once again we all know Golden sucks and everyone wants him fired, so putting all the fire Golden rants aside, lets talk some football.

I've seen predictions of us playing an SEC team like Arkansas in the Independence Bowl. That would be an ideal situation for another blowout.
 
We get our asses beat by St. Mary's school for the blind because golden cannot coach and the team has packed it in already.
 
My prediction for the bowl game is: I won't watch it or care about it.

Yea I would prefer to avoid Arkansas. That would end up poorly. I'm not sure where, but I remember reading something about possibly playing Memphis. I wouldn't mind that. Plus that would also be a nice going away present for Ryan Williams if we could manage to beat them.
 
I don't care about this bowl game, I'm in full on mope mode. only reason this game will have any substance is if we get blown out the pressure cooker will heat up fairly quickly

As much as I am discouraged about the state of this program and agree that the pressure cooker would absolutely heat up, I still see at least some value in ending the season on a good note. The last game is what leaves a (relatively) good or a bad taste in recruits' mouths for 7-8 months. Personally I would really like to leave Tim Irvin and the rest of the 2015 kids with a small glimmer of optimism about the program. Even if it is completely false/temporary optimism.
 
TBH I think Arkansas is almost a guaranteed loss, but losing to UCF would be more damning...that would be like Randy losing to USF in 2010.

UCF would be really cool. I'm all for instate games, even if it is under s***ty circumstances. Plus I think Miami would handle them and quiet all the Orlando crowd and their growing love for their Knights. It's a very similar situation to the college football climate in Michigan (Where I'm from) a few years back. Central Michigan beat Michigan State one year and all of a sudden CMU was supposed to be a better program than MSU by all the slappys from Mt. Pleasant (where CMU is located). 3-4 years later and CMU is a middle-of-the-pack MAC program again and MSU wins the Rose Bowl. Things tend to even out.
 
Why even play in a bowl game? Players packed it in, coaches suck, fans will not show up, just what we need for everyone to see how pathetic this program has become. FIRE THIS FAT F$CKING PEICE OF SH$T ASAP
 
If God is merciful, Donna will self-impose another bowl band and spare us one more humiliation. Wait, I would like the players to enjoy going to a bowl, so go ahead and take one. BUT right at game time, the players should get back on the buses and refuse to play. Now that would be fun.

So much for skipping the fire Golden rants in this thread. I swear it is impossible to just talk about the game of football on this site. Absolutely impossible.
