Bowl Game Projections (prior to Conference Championship games)

If the Sun Bowl has a chance to take USC and Miami they’d be crazy not to. Couldn’t hope for a better matchup factoring in they’re not getting the best teams either way. Brand-name matchup.

Think it will be Sunbowl. The oppenent will be dependent on who Las Vegas bowl picks. If Las Vegas bowl picks Utah then will play Oregon St. If Veags bowl takes USC then will play Utah. Oregon St with no coach and transferring QB sounds much better matchup then playing Utah.

Miami vs. Southern Cal or Oregon State in the SUn Bowl for me.

Some chatter about Clemson vs. Southern Cal in the Holiday Bowl, so could send Oregon State to the Sun Bowl without their head coach and starting QB so opportunity to get a ranked win.

Sun Bowl vs USC is intriguing but I also saw a Gasparilla Bowl vs UCF that I might like more just bc it's in Florida.

To be honest my preference is a Bowl in Florida vs an easy opponent, Eastern Michigan, Toledo, Georgia State, idc I just want a dub.

Great food out there

Oh, **** yeah!

Wonder if Dawson has a HB Pass schemed up for if it snows in El ****o?
As is tradtion. Go to Chico's. and taco tote'. cross over the bridge, go to the Kentucky club, have a good drink, THEN, then buy some horsehit cigarettes - unfiltered pall malls with a funny package, then look for the "La Travestia" sandwich signs, take the cab and report back to me to see if anything has changed since the early nineties.
If the dancers still shoot ping pong balls (yes, yes), have fish bellies, sad eyes, and they still vayjay pick up silverdollars (yes, yes, what you think) off the cemented empty liquor bottles ringing the stage - you're in the right place - before the big show con el burro.

Lemme know!

I am the way I am because of that place and the nights of debauch. You too, can dew eht!

I want to play whoever the most favorable matchup is for us. I just want to win.
This. We need a bowl win for recruiting purposes. Especially if the Criminoles beat Louisville and do a TCU and back into the Final Four. You know Norvell and his people are going to negatively recruit against us on that alone.

It's on my list of Top 1,000,000 cities to visit before I die.
My mother was born there, and then my grandmother had the GD common sense to get the **** out.

It's what you pass through on the way to Los Angeles when you are using the Interstate (or in the Depression Era, the U.S. Highways) from Old Florida to what once was the Golden State. You'd pass through El Paso and see Juarez on the Other Side of the Rio Grande.

Poor Mexico. As the Mexicans say, "So close the United States, so far from God...".

BTW, I should point out that the best GD rib joint I ever found in Texas was not far past El Paso on the way to the New Mexican frontier. It was just off I-10. Effin' Ribs to die for. Cole slaw was fresh, too.

All seriousness, growing up there was a weird magical experience. Would never move back, but am glad I got some of the perspective I did during formative years.
