Its looking like we'll be in the Orange bowl, but who we play is still TBD. If Ohio State gets in, I think we face Bama.

If the committee selects Bama, then it gets interesting. We could face Ohio State in the Orange, but given that USC got left out, I could see an Ohio State -vs-USC Fiesta Bowl. That would put us in the Orange against Wisconsin. That's our best hope at winning a bowl game IMO.

As I said in the game day thread, Alabama would lobotomize us.

OSU and USC would beat us handily. Whisky we would have a decent shot against.

We're not beating anyone w/o better QB play, OL play, and someone that can punt the f'`n ball.

Two games in a row the defense was subpar but the 3 and outs then crappy punts do them no favors.
 
Wisky is the only team we have a chance at atleast making it a game right now. If we play Bama we are going to get boat raced.

We can beat Wisky. They are basically a slightly better version of ND. No QB, RB/OL struggles vs speedy defenses. Slightly better defense then ND though but not fast. It would basically be a home game for us. It would basically be a repeat of the ND in the same setting.

Miami will face whoever is ranked number 5 in the Orange Bowl. They have to take the highest ranked non playoff team.

This is an absolutely horrible idea. You don't want Nick Saban to have 3 weeks to prepare for you (4 when you count his team didn't play yesterday) in a bowl game.

That's not the case, Bama will get in the playoffs. The top pack 10 school will play the top big 10 school in the fiesta bowl since the rose bowl isn't an option this year with the playoffs.
