I still think our best chance for a bowl win is to play a good Group of Five team. We can most likely just shove that team around and dominate physically.

Given the pending state of conference realignments next season, I think it makes the most sense for UM to play UCF in Hawaii, no?

Now that all the closet FSU fans here got their wish for an undefeated regular season, Im not sure I even care. I can't hope to play the gator in a bowl anymore.

Yes because who doesn’t want 15 more practices to developers the returning talent for next season.

Bowl games are no longer about winning, that’s just a bonus at this point. It’s more about displaying the future.

ALL could use the extra practice as a lot of them are young/raw and will be needed to contribute next year. TVD being non comittal hurts and so does JB apparently wanting to just GTFO AND the fact E Williams got hurt but outside of QB the future looks bright. And developing that future is crucial.

If I were a lower tier bowl game I’d be trying to match up Miami with USC. Even with disappointing seasons from both, the brand-name factor would attract more viewers than they would otherwise get.

Local Fox Orlando TV reported this morning that they're projecting Canes vs UCF in the Duke's Mayo Bowl in Charlotte.
