Being a local - what are your tops spots for a tour for folks that have been up that way a few times?

Likely staying in Louisville and grabbing Mint Julip for another day. Been to a bunch of places but never feared going back, especially if you can snag some good bottles by touring or tasting.
 
Did some solid tasting this week: Blood Oath #1, Weller CYPB, Weller Single Barrel and in a different ballpark grabbed a 1792 Sweet Wheat on the cheap which would make one helluva daily drinker.
 
Hopefully bringing back this thread. I thought 2025 was a very good year for Bourbon/whiskey new releases.

That Jack 14 was phenomenal, probably the best thing I had last year. I know I'm biased toward toasted-barrel stuff, but the Jack Heritage might be the best readily-available whiskey out there. And the price point is insanely good

I was pleasantly surprised by the Jack Heritage. Tried it for the first time a few weeks ago and it was definitely worthwhile.

I actually grabbed a backup bottle of this. Never been a big fan of Jack in general, but they have definitely stepped up their game. Haven't been fortunate enough to try the 14, but really enjoyed the 10 and 12 along with the barrel strength.

I have not tried it but sounds delicious . The Barrell 12 year French Oak was very good.

I was down to those two and went with this one solely because of the higher cost, since he hooked me up across the weekend. However, I think he would have liked the 12 year more.
 
Had a bourbon lottery this weekend outside of Atlanta. Great bottles up for grabs but had mixed results. Glad I won a couple but ended up with a Bombergers and Shenk’s. Bombergers was good and probably worth MSRP. The shenk’s was ok but not worth the price. I think the proof held back the complexity. I am glad to win but wish they were other bottles.

Any thoughts on either bottle?
