Borregales hash v middle

We’re also one play a game from being 2-7. That’s what happens when every game is a dogfight and you can’t stop anyone. It’s a toss up and that’s a 50-50 shot.

We’re exactly what we should be.
We shouldn’t be in a sweat week in and week out with the talent we have. Every coastal team outside of UNC would kill for our talent. Mannys seat should have gotten hotter after the GT game, idk how people are simply happy that we got the W vs that crappy team

He's being instructed to kick them short, to force the returners into making a decision.

If that's what we're actually trying to do, we need to rethink that strategy. It's one thing to try that when you have an above average kick coverage team the way we once did, as it can often bottle up the other team deep in its own territory, and sometimes even force fumbles. But we seem to be a long way from that. Boom 'em into the end zone.

Actually from being 1-8. We could have easily lost the App state game.

Play calling sucked but he should have made a 32 yard field goal. The scared *** play calling prior did him NO favors but he should have made the kick.
If TVD throws a Pick like he did agansint UNC when we have a chip shot fg from the middle of the field Manny would have been justifiably roasted.

Overheard literally never on the sidelines “OK take a knee in the middle of the field for this chip shot field goal.“

“No coach line it up at the tough angle!! You should know that!“

Yep, this place is definitely worse after a win than a loss.
What tough angle?

Should have gotten more aggressive. They had them on their heals.

He's a true freshman that's 12-16 (75%) with a long of 55.

Huerta was 21-27 as a freshman (77%)
Sievers was 11-17 (65%)
Peattie was 22-28 (79%)
Bosher was 18-20 (90%) as a sophomore his first year kicking FG
Badgley was 14-18 (78%)
Borregales brother was 15-18 (84%) at FIU as a freshman. Regressed and then hit 90% at Miami as a senior.

Andy will be fine.

I'll say this for the umpteenth time so people here will understand: THE MOST DIFFICULT POSITION TO TRANSITION FROM HS TO COLLEGE IS KICKER.

* In HS you kick off a tee - college off the ground

* In high school almost no team tries to block a field goal, maybe 1 or 2 a season. In college every team tries to block a field goal. (goes to approach speed)

* HS goal posts are 23' wide. - College goal posts are 18'-6". That's 20% more narrow. Huge difference.

*. HS kicks off from the 40 yard line. - college from the 35.

He’s a true freshman and one of the least of Miami’s problems.

I did think his KOs were a bit weak. Wasn’t he kicking them into the endzone earlier in the season?
I agree 11 of 14 FG, true freshman. He is not our problem
