Borregales hash v middle

Kid has some work to do.

Patke also needs to be shown the door.
I never really looked at a kicker/punter's performance as a direct reflection on the ST coach. Those players tend to either have it or they dont and work on their own technique/mechanics. Thats on Borregales to hit those. I do however look right at the ST coach when it comes to kickoff/punt coverages/protection, penalties, personnel decisions. So based on that, yeah, Patke can receive his pink slip. Oh, then there is that whole minor linebacker problem too.

I believe his misses are from the middle of the field. He is money for the hashes. Patke should know this.

He makes that kick v VA if it’s set on the hash.
33 yarder, straight away?
He's got to make that kick.

I'll say it again....
The coaches have to go, but can the players be just a little bit accountable?

Sure. Who isn‘t holding AB accountable for missing a few make-able FGs?

Does anyone know what’s up with the short kicks on KO? Our coverage unit was getting killed, we really needed those kicks to be boomed into the end zone.

He’s a true freshman and one of the least of Miami’s problems.

I did think his KOs were a bit weak. Wasn’t he kicking them into the endzone earlier in the season?
I was wondering yesterday if that was by design. Patke expecting the coverage to tackle them inside the 25.

Yeah i noticed that too. Usually it's in the end zone but this game i think were 3 that were returned.

Also and not related to what you said, i believe his onky two misses both hit the left goalpost. From my non special teams amateur bowling days, i'd line him up closer to that left hashmark so he'd have to kick a bit to the right (as opposed to lining him up head on and the kick drifting to the left.

He missed a chip-shot vs Michigan State. Wide left, like the two he missed hitting the left upright. Something he needs to work on.
