Why is it that we never see who is upstairs in the booth for Miami. Is it time for a personnel of substance on offense and defense to be upstairs in the booth.

I think Dawson especially with his calm demeanor and play calling style belongs in the booth. He can see what is happening down on the peach better and adjust on the fly instead of waiting until half time to adjust. He can observe formations better from the booth and adjust better on the fly.

Mario needs to address the booth and special teams in 2026 as we kick it up a notch.

I am sure there is someone inside the booth relaying what they’re seeing to dawson

Booth or sideline really just depends on what the coach is more comfortable with, obviously dawson is comfortable with being on the sideline
 
This has got to be one of the dumbest threads on CIS. Coaches are creatures of habit. Dawson being in the booth won’t make a bit of difference in how he calls a game from beginning to end.

It’s obvious he likes to be on the sidelines in the thick of it. We can do so much worse than Dawson. Let it go
 
Depends on the coach. Some like being ground level to get a feel for the game and to have face-to-face interaction with the QB, while others like being above and being able to see what the defense is doing. Either is fine with me as long as they know what the **** they are doing.
