I'll be there. I didn't think they were selling tix until August. In any case, this will be like the BCS championship game for App State, so we better be ready
 
So, Blake James, in his infinite wisdom, knew that if SOMEHOW Al Golden was still entranced at HC, if he lost to App State it would be an easy sell to the BOT to fire him.... I see what he did there.

You're going to learn about the staff playing App State? They don't have a guy on that team that UM offered a scholarship. It's embarrassing that UM fans have been relegated to putting any stock in games like this.

Did cinci have any guys we offered? App st is really good for their conference. Should we lose? No but as I said this kinda game has been very losable with alfraud if we go out and handle them easily like we should it will signal that we won't be playing down to opponents

New HC. You guys need to get over this facqitry of thinking Richt's team should resemble Folden's.

You're talking about a team in App State that was an FCS team a couple years ago. This is an exhibition game.
 
This should be a vacation in the hills, really. I'd be worried with a Golden coached team, but not Richt. Golden would bring the team down to their level. Richt will have them finishing them off in a hurry. I don't think it can be said enough. Our kids are hungry, and are dying to get out there to show what they can do.

yea august 5th I think trying to get a hook with a app state season ticket holder to get a couple of tixs.
 
This team has played like a weak midmajor since Clappy's last days here. No wonder we're being forced to travel to play these chit programs. Hopefully this ends with CMR.

Why would you think that opinion would be anything but popular....I don;t think anyone on here thinks it is a good move for us to be playing games like this..but this one is going to happen- and it just so happens to be in an incredibly beautiful part of the country, so people are going to make the best of it..but of course most on here think it is abad move by our AD

Why would you think that opinion would be anything but popular....I don;t think anyone on here thinks it is a good move for us to be playing games like this..but this one is going to happen- and it just so happens to be in an incredibly beautiful part of the country, so people are going to make the best of it..but of course most on here think it is abad move by our AD

This is not a team that Miami should be worried about, but that's not the point. This was a bad move by the AD. He was probably in a position where he had no other choice, but he shouldn't have been in that position in the first place. There's no way we make as much money on this away game as we would say with the home and home with Nebraska, and it looks bad. Again, as I said previously, top-tier P5 programs are not scheduling teams like App State away. Something fell through the cracks, and the buck stops at the AD's office.

agreed. and we all agree...what i did not agree w was your assumption that your opinion would not be popular on here. i was saying,,,uh of course your opinion on this matter would jive w the rest of us
 
I'm up here right now renting a cabin for a family vacation. It is no doubt beautiful up here. This place has a game room that is slap full of Ap state flags and stuff. I wonder if anyone would get it if I put a hurricane warning sign up and left it there after we check out. If I can get tickets I'm for sure coming back up here. It's only a 5 hour drive for me, and if I can get back up here in my mustang I'll drive these winding *** roads properly.
 
Everyone saying it was a bad move... Have you see the other options that were available? Personally I see no harm in going there. This is a heck of a lot more intriguing a game than playing at Temple or Rutgers.
