Boldish prediction for next year

Leach is tired of trying to beat Washington in a blizzard every year .... i liked to watch Texas Tech play when Leach was there ... would take a miracle for him to get back in there though

can you imagine what kind of team Leach/Diaz would be ? WOW !
Something we have been dreaming of...

There is a bunch of good DC's that have not gotten offer to become a HC, I don't get why this site is so worried about losing Manny.
Cause we’re paranoid. Cause the universe hates us. Cause we’re no longer allowed to have nice things.

Just read Leach wants back in at Texas Tech, bet you if he goes there, Manny gets kidnapped.

Snowballs chance in **** Manny would even think about coaching at TT under Leach. He is where he is best at, at TT he would be just like he was at Texas working on other side of a run and shoot offense, and would be on street again.

We got to hope he gets rewarded here enough to stay until Richt retires in a couple years. He is also getting valuable experience as he has more leeway with Richt letting him make all calls for defense and assisting in almost assistant HC decisions.

i agree Relly. 2019 could be really ugly.. we won't have the defense we had this year... with the cupcake schedule we had 2018 should have been the year to make the playoffs

Why do people keep referring to 2018 as a cupcake schedule?

In 2019 we replace LSU with UFag, Toledo with Central Michigan, and BC with Louisville.

Seems like an even easier schedule to me.

this current admin has shown NO signs at all there is any of them with a serious commitment for a championship football program. so with that in mind, we are screwed.

What a stupid comment.

The admin is paying out 3x the salaries it was, built the IPF, hired nutrionists, sports psychologists, etc.

Tell me how they have shown they are NOT committed? ... by not firing coaches mid season?

I wouldn’t call it a “Stupid” comment. Unfounded? Yes Perhaps. Remains to be seen? Yes Perhaps. Mdp’s just expressing a frustration a lot of us are feeling, stemming from CMR’s lack of game day flexibility and continued steadfastness that nothing is wrong with the picture. Compound that with Flake James’ stand on this problem: near silence.

Of course you are right, the administration has poured in resources, IPF coming to fruition, etc. The real test comes this off season as to how CMR and the administration responds to the loaded diaper record this year. We shall see.

Manny about to be HC Simpson will be D coordinator Richt will be gone if we do not win coastal at a minimum
For better or for worse (re: Manny), I think all of this could happen. I think Right will tap out if he doesn't see improvement and a Coastal title next year. No other sources than observing human behavior and having employees for years. He's already rich. If he taps out after next year, he retains his respectability rather than losing it and being forced out.

No secret Manny has earned his pay. Richt hasn't done a damned thing for his but #### up the offense.

I completely disagree with that opinion. Mark Richt is the HC and based on the direction this program is headed since he’s arrived he’s done more than enough to earn his pay.

From what I read he was supposedly very well liked and successful as Mayor.
My father was a GC,,pave it all over!
LABA ruled development in Dade County.
Manny was easier to deal with than Corolla or Ferre.
In Miami, everything is political,, no right or wrong.
Just be on the Right side..

With the exception of MIGHTY Florida, Miami should finish 10-2 next season and win the Coastal. And that's with a SUSPECT offensive line and the lost of both seniors and juniors on defense. For example, Central Michigan, which you alluded too, has fired their head coach after a " 11-1 " season. Then there's the yet to be named FCS game and the quasi-home game with FIU.

The bottom line is, Miami's 2019 season will be all PREDICATED on the play calling next season. And if that improves immensely ( No. 93 total offense. Ouch. ) then Miami good ol' boy is yapping about playing in their second ACC championship game and what not.
