PRAYING THAT IT'S TRUE.
I think Perry's learned whatever lesson CMR was trying to teach him.
I will never understand why he was pulled because I have since some of the best QBs throw two horrible interceptions and recovered.
Have an open QB competition next year but the thought of seeing another game with Rosier at the helm depresses me and I'm sure the team
Not sure how true but I read someone on a post say after the 2nd interception against Virginia, Richt tried to discuss something with Perry on the sidelines and Perry brushed him off. He was benched after that. So it wasn't so much the mistakes as the willingness to account for them. I kinda of buy that.
Judging from Perry's off field antics and subsequent suspensions he is a bit of a wild horse that Richt is trying to break in. Maybe Perry to used to having free reign in the past and is a bit spoiled. Can't say I blame Richt for doing so if that's the case. There has to be communication and accountability between player and coach that instills trust. That seems to be lacking. If Perry doesn't want to conform to that then he will be benched and ultimately transfer.
Richt trying to be patient with him but he will not allow him to do whatever on or off the field with no accountability. That is my take on it for what it's worth.
