I can’t imagine there’s 5 better safeties in the country than Haulcy. Especially when you take Downs and Thienemann out of the equation. Have a hard time seeing Perich happening but that’s the only logical thing that could be drawn with that hint

Yeah... unless maybe the option is spending the money on another position and just a solid safety instead of a top safety and not getting the other player...

247 isn’t as high on him , but still the best Safety in the portal

Better might be the wrong wording. Other very good options sound about right. I think we land haulcy tho. And could see 2 more added in secondary.

But what's the plan at DT now ? Stone stayed put, Wilson goes toTexas, and this Fely kid not a take. So, is someone new gonna enter portal we have a shot at ?

I guess if someone jumps in that they consider better then what's already in the room. I think Fely is markedly better then Marley Cook for example, but maybe they don't think the need is as dire as last year. That or allocation of NIL resources. Like he's okay but not worth the price.
