Love Bowden and what he did at FSU. I grew up in Tallahassee but later moved to South Florida and graduated from UM after the best run in college football by the Canes I could have asked for. We beat FSU most of those years but while UF wouldn't play us, FSU did, much to their detriment but steel hardens steel and in the end it was producing two of the best teams in the nation every year.

Bowden is a great person and has earned our respect and our thanks for making that rivalry what it was. All the best to Coach Bowden and his family, there is a place in heaven for that man for sure, I am sure Coach Richt knows that as much as anyone.

Good person. I cursed his name on game days, but he was always a gentle soul and brought peace into Mark Richt’s life.
 
Bobby Bowden is a deservedly respected man yet the NCAA took wins away from him so that slime ball Joe Pa could hold the total wins record which at that time was held by Bobby.

Bobby Bowden was the only Coach aside from our Cane Coaches I respected.
Class act, Class life, Class Person.
Always had that half smile, and a comment.
Genuinely good man, and lived a Blessed life.
