Who: Presbyterian is a small, private liberal arts college located in tiny Clinton, South Carolina. They are in fact D1 and compete in the Big South.

What in the wide world of sports is a Blue Hose?

"The nickname “Blue Hose” began in the early 1900’s, when sportswriters referred to the Presbyterian College athletic teams as the “Blue Stockings” because of the blue socks they wore. Writers used the terms “stockings” and “hose” interchangeably over the years. The name blue hose signifies fierce Scottish warriors. This interpretation also reflects the college's Scottish heritage."

Questions remain: Do Canadians soil themselves laughing as they refer to Presbyterian athletes as "Hosers"? Does this mean we will be overrun by William Wallace-like warriors brandishing broadswords and freebird kilts?

Probably not. Presbyterian has a paltry team ERA of 6.50 and a 1.63 WHIP. The Canes will have plenty of opportunities to pad their season home run totals against them this weekend.

Prediction: Canes sweep, even with Rosario starting Saturday. Although Presbyterian has a win against #14 ranked Campbell and have played some SEC and ACC games (Clemson and Duke), they hold an 18-27 record and have totaled only 5 road wins all season.
