Haven't had any luck with google, wondering if anybody knows a website when you can see programs ranked by current blue chip ratio/recruiting ranking of current roster?

I'm guessing we'd be around #17 in the nation, but curious.

Hard to believe, but we will probably increase our % this year.

JJ and St Louis from the '15 class will be leaving.
Richards, Joe Jax, and Homer from '16 are going.
JT, who knows.

That's 6 or 7 out.
In, we have 6 signed. Plus the transfers.

Slight increase?
It's not ideal, but better than going backwards.

This class is actually not bad from a blue chip ratio perspective... Counting transfers, 8/18, and a bad class cycling off.

The problems are that we're not at 85 scholarships, and that our blue chips aren't spread out right... you can probably compete for NY6 and playoffs with 45% blue chips (and development of some 3 stars) IF they're in all the right positions. Ours are not (main problem being OL)

We were projected to be 13th before our decommitments recently. 15-17 sounds about right.

I clicked on a link within the article above and saw the following, thought it was pretty interesting for those who say stars don't matter or aren't important:

Blue chips are almost 1,000 percent more likely to be drafted in the first round. And five-stars are about 33 times as likely to be All-Americans as two-stars are. Sure, there are outliers on an individual player basis. But the overwhelming majority of two- and three-star players are going pro in something other than sports

Alabama: 77% (14-1)
Ohio State: 76% (13-1)
USC: 71% (5-7)
Georgia: 69% (11-3)
Florida State: 67% (5-7)
LSU: 63% (10-3)
Auburn: 62% (8-5)
Clemson: 61% (15-0 National Champs)
Michigan: 57% (10-3)
Texas: 55% (10-4)
Oklahoma: 53% (12-2)
Penn State: 53% (9-4)
Notre Dame: 51% (12-1)

Coaching is the most important factor IMO.

Does anybody know what the G5 schools Blue chip ratio is? I can't find anything on UCF, Cincinnati, UAB, Fresno St, Utah St, Boise St, App St, Troy & Georgia Southern.

A side note on that thought.
Saban and his crew are great coaches, no doubt.
But when someone says "Bama puts players in the league"...

I'll give them partial credit, but c'mon man, those 5-star and upper 4-star players put themselves in the league.
