Blue Bloods per On3

I don't think Miami is a "blue blood" program, nor should we want it to be. What made Miami special was that we thumbed our noses at the whole culture of blue blood, ivory tower, polo-wearing, rah-rah college football bullshīt. We wanted to beat the blue bloods, not become them.

Looks like we snatched Nebraska's crown.

Good point, but I'll take having the brand recognized with some of the CFB elite.

Looks like we made the cut, as we should 😌

Clemson and the Gators have an argument for being in above Texas.

Both have 3 NC’s in different decades since 1980. Texas has won what? 1 NC in 5 decades?

Or is it the winning % that put Texas in, despite 1NC in forever?

Agree. They belong as we do.
Tennessee does not. If its strictly being around for a while, army is more deserving
Tennessee has won how many?
Clemson is knocking on the door. But not sure who gets cut

Nebraska's runs
How many others did they play for

The five national titles were won in 1970, 1971, 1994, 1995, and 1997.

Some things shift over time, and the team’s history looms larger as time goes along despite not originally being known as one of those historically enshrined programs. Then you add the way the program is supposedly throwing around money now, this list isn’t all that surprising.

But Miami hasn’t won anything in 2 decades….. **** they can’t even win bowl games, so can’t say I agree that they’re now a blue blood program….

If this branding helps get recruits then sure.. I’ll take it
