It is indefensible to have kids playing in this system for years and still not understand their matchup assignments. At this point, a regime that’s been here 6 years not being able to get their players to understand a basic zone coverage is shameful, it really is.
Well coached teams don’t have to think about it, they are so well drilled and trained they just react immediately. Our players are constantly lost. And it’s not a physical issue, it’s simply not knowing what to do, being confused.
Banda, Rumph, Baker, Patke and Manny have zero excuses for this. And 8th grade team can learn to play 2 read better than this!!
