Blame the ACC

The CFP needs to do their jobs by their stated and published criteria. Bullet point 1 isn’t far off, NDs SOS is propped up from their losses to us and TAMU, and 2 and 3 are pretty black and white.

No one is suggesting the CFP isn’t the issue. Just the fact the ACC is a **** hole & through incompetency provides some cover. If the ACC had a sensible tie-breaker, Miami is in the conference championship game & there’s no debate, no gnashing of teeth. Instead, 7-5 Duke - worst of five second-place teams - is playing in Charlotte. If they win a pillow fight, possibility ACC is left out of playoff.

Because the issue is the CFP. The ACC should not be left out. The screenshot is obvious with the criteria. If anything the ACC should be getting 2 in.

Your doing the "yea but the ACC argument" when the truth of the matter is Miami is at worst a top 8 team in the country, the CFP by way of being complete cucks, has done the shiny object thing distracting people with the ACC. Fact of the matter is there's going to be multiple teams from the SEC and B1G who aren't playing in their conference title game.

The CFP has a job to do. Do it.

No excuses for UM losing to Louisville or SMU of course, but it’s laughable that people are referring to three point losses to 8-4 teams as “bad losses”.

A “bad loss” is losing 31-17 and giving up 200+ yards rushing to a 5-7 FSU team.

A “bad loss” is losing at home to an 8-5 NIU team last year that finished 6th in the MAC.

Bama lost to FSU as a 2 TD underdog. FSU sucks infinitely more than SMU. Why do they get a pass? Their win vs UGA is that much better than ours vs ND that it excuses losing to the 5-7 team? It’s the worst loss of any team in the playoff race. I get the schtick, but at least be consistent for everyone
 
They also screwed us with bye week scheduling this year--two bye weeks in three weeks should NEVER happen; it took us two losses to get our mojo back after the second bye!

THE UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI NEEDS TO STAND UP AND GIVE THE BIG MIDDLE FINGER TO THE ACC. FSU and Clemson trying to leave and Miami playing nice in the sandbox? For this? I'd tell the ACC to go pound sand. Go independent, I bet they get picked up in a second by a major network, a la Notre Dame. GTFOH

Miami and the ACC are held to unfair standard , so we absolutely have to remove all ******* doubt and destroy people during the season

One loss Miami is already in the playoffs. We don’t have the wiggle room that the other teams do.
