Blake The Supposed "Powerless" AD

Flake thinks he has everything under control and taking a wait and see. Can't wait for the moment when Fuente, Herman, and Butch are hired away before EOS and Al is still the corch. The Hecht will be ***ushima toxic.

Nobody's going to show their hand and say anything decisive about his future. Golden stands no chance at being here next year, not when they talk about the criticism and the pressure he's under when doing game commentary. The banners keep that in the forefront.

Show his hand? He retained Al after 2014. He retained Al after 2013. He retained Al after he made these comments:

[After UL, 2014] "We are going to be a better team at the end of this year than we were at the start of this year. We’re going to be a better team at the end of this year than we were last year and we’re going to continue to get better each year.”

[After the Bowl Game Last Year ] "I understand the frustration of the fan base," he said. "The thing I would say to everyone is no one is more frustrated than everyone here. It's frustrating when you don't have the type of success you want as a program. With that said everyone has different perspectives on what needs to be done. My job is to work with Al and figure out what is the best plan for us to get to where we meet all those expectations. The bar is set very high here."

[After the Bowl Game Last Year ] "I don't want to put a time on it, `this date', but we have to continue to move forward. I think there was a lot of progress made this year, unfortunately it wasn't in the win and loss column. At the end of the day it's about wins and losses, and I understand that, and I understand why fans are frustrated."

His hand is shown, he loves Al and lacks any standards.

If has power, he is retarded, and has to go. If he doesn't have power, he is a retarded puppet, and has to go.

THIS!

Sounds to me like we are screwed either way. If we somehow finish strong, we are stuck with Golden and Dorito. The alternative is now firing Golden and having a coaching search led by this soft shouldered ****** of an AD. Not sure which is worse at this point.

The fact that it's taken these people this long to begin to even question his competency as a coach is mind boggling. The good thing is these things are getting out there. You know this will get back to Al and it will take it toll on him. One can only hope he cracks and everything implodes. I feel bad for the kids, but with Al around they won't experience any real success.

But he's powerless and it's all on the trustees!! Lulz. Dude has the ability to make the decision to fire Golden but his gaping ****** won't let him

I read this article and chuckled when I read that frenk empowered him again lol.

Blake has the power and is calling the shots. He wasnt last year -Shalala was. But be realistic we are 4-2 and haven't lost to Clemson yet. You dont fire a coach mid season with a winning record. Anyone thinking Golden will be let go soon is mistaken. Now if we are out of the coastal and lose to Clemson 3 games from now I announce he wont return and start the coaching search.
