You get what you pay for. Manny is not even a top 40 paid coach in the country. Richt ended up being washed, but at least it was a sensible, vetted hire.
If we hired Franklin, Leach, even Mullen, we are in a far better place. You get what you pay for. We have a HC, OC, and DC that would not hold a job a single quality Power 5 school. Each was available when we hired Golden.
We got Manny from the vaunted Temple program(2 of our last 3 hires), Baker from the powerhouse Louisiana Tech, and Enos as the “didn't call plays” glorified caretaker of the best QB In the country.
