Does he believe what he is saying. Our fans enjoy seeing Famu? Fiu is a good series because miami doesn't have to pay airfare for the "away" game. And bringing fiu with their alumni base will add fans at the "home" game. Does he really believe this? Mom and pop shop. We are worried about airfare? And attracting other school'a fans to boost attendance rather than fixing our own issues. Applause Blake, applause!

They are saving the money as a business decision not a football decision. our fans won't show up. oh well more fans more money even though not homemade.

Depending on the new Prez, I wouldn't be shocked if Blake isn't the AD in a few years.

Seems like a nice guy, but is he really qualified?

He's a ham and egger. A low expectations dude. A puppet.

We'll never return to prominence with nickel and dime motherfckers like that out in front spreading weak messages. Really feeble stuff.

Fake James is the type of schlep who buys a Prius and still whines about gas prices.

They are too stupid to understand the business of college football, invest big time in the program and the IRR will be of the charts. They do not get it.

These are the type of thread where it becomes the most obvious people just want something to complain about.
1. UM fans do like seeing famu. The stands were still full during the halftime show.
2. The UM athletic dept is on a tighter budget than Ohio st. So an fiu series financially makes a ton of sense. It's either that or pay a school $700,000 to come here and play. What makes more sense to you, a free game or paying someone?
3. Fix our problems? UM wasn't selling out when national titles were being won every other year. So it makes 100% sense to bring in a local team that will sell more tickets.

But continue with your factless rant. I'm sure I'll see you at the game Saturday.

"The sanctions are still there, and that's what the NCAA wanted us to deal with right now," UM AD Blake James told @560WQAM.

"Is that an excuse? No. It is a reality.....We want to win games. There's nobody who wants to win games more than Al Golden," Blake James.

Not an excuse, but I'm going to bring it up. smh

You have to pay every team to come play in Miami? Since when?

Unbelievable, the weak sauce mentality of the entire athletic dept is embarrassing.

Fixing problems isn't just about winning. It's about investing in a stadium that would create a worthwhile gameday experience to attract fans and students alike. The student turn out for games is abysmal.

The ultimate fayggotry. Fake James, how does it feel to be the sock puppet of a loser Corch spreading his message because he can't do it anymore? Weak.

Blake James and Golden appear to be the perfect AD and coach for the school because the fans make as many if not more excuses for why they won't do things as they those two do.

Wow i missed some gems tuning in late. The athletic department makes 60 million a year and will listen if somebody would build a 40,000 seat stadium near campus. How about you use one year of profits and build a 50 million dollar stadium at tropical park donate it to the city of miami w a 100 year lease at a dollar a year for UM? This is a joke.

Ignorance. The athletic department makes nowhere close to $60 million in profit. Yes, a bunch of money comes in. But in breaking news, there are also millions of dollars worth of expenses.

We have not have a decent AD since Sam.

Nobody brings up the cloud and sanctions against the University of Miami more than the University of Miami.

They single-handedly negatively recruit against themselves, and make sure this remains fresh in everyone's mind.

you're still gonna go down with the Godlen ship, don't care how hard you try to spin it like you dont like him

NEGGERED

Yeah. Those horrific 9 scholarships that can be taken against the total. Brutal stuff to still be dealing with considering we've already almost reached the 9 total just through Al's recruiting incompetence.

These sanctions have nothing on USC, who just beat a top ten marquee program with a first year coaching staff and after losing 30 scholarships. USC probably had about 55 guys on scholarship.
