Close to losing Al Golden?: “Al wants to be in Miami. His wife wants to be in Miami. I think he has started something here that can be real special. Anytime you go through a process like this and it wears on you and you have someone like Al who has done a tremendous job in leading and putting a vision in place with the program, you know people will see that on the outside. If nothing else, Al has only strengthened his credibility nationally. It’s something that I am aware of but Al wants to be here. Blake James is a miami guy. This is his dream job. He went to college in Minnesota, he was sporting cane gear then.
 
Lots of agendas out there trying to pump Golden to leave Coral Gables. These ****ers know that Golden is building a monster here and is about to take over the college world!
 
Close to leaving ? Where in the **** did that come from ? Dumbass local radio shouldn't be fueling that.
 
Blake Jams as impressed me a lot as an AD, much more then past ADs not to be named from Wisconsin and one who left for Texas Tech...

Everybody show him love and he won't want to leave. Look at his recruiting classes. Local cats signing up more and more. that's love and trust right there. He's not going anywhere.

Only college job that would worry me is Texas, if Mack gets canned. That one would be very tough for him to turn down. Otherwise I can't think of another college job that could lure him away, especially now that Penn State is off the table
