Blake James bringing in Jimmy Johnson for search

The only guy with "Miami connections" we need it Butch. I like Chud but without Butch on staff he is a risk like anyone else. Butch has already proved he is the right guy.
 
LOL @ it taking until this far in to the season for some "mid-level" donors to merely threaten to stop contributing. Maybe someone finally got around to counting how many of us already stopped...
 
Cmon guys, let's not steer away form the conversation... This is a great sign. JJ is a GOD **** WINNER and having him to help us is amazing news.
 
JJ emphasizing the fact that a coach doesn't have to have Miami ties is exactly what we need. God I hope we get Herman or Fuente.
 
JJ liked the Shannon hire and once called Wannstache the best coach he's ever been around. I hope he pays attention to college football today and doesn't just have a passing knowledge because his word could weigh a lot even if his opinion isn't all that well-informed at this point.

Johnson says candidates shouldn’t be limited to people with UM ties. “You want the best candidate,” he said. “There are some outstanding individuals who will be interested in this job. I wouldn’t want any restriction. :navy3:

For a football coach, if you want to win, you’ve got a great opportunity. I still think it’s a great job but it takes the right individual.”

Any chance they put JJ and Dorito in the same room? Defensive minded JJ must have died a little watching that passive 3-4 bull**** for 4 1/2 years.

Yep... good old ticket collector Blake didn't think the average donor would actually follow thru with our threats from last year. Must 've been late in the counting dept.
