Sending a DE into the boundary flat to drop 8 in coverage against Blackman on 3rd and 5 is totally reasonable. I'd rather send man pressure against FSU's crappy OL but both are valid calls.
Exactly. Not even remotely the same to what he originally posted.

D rev is an artard not a manny defender but goes to show you when manny does it, it’s situational because we never noticed it until Baker got here

Exactly. All anyone has really said was "The D was better than the O by a mile". That's true, but it doesn't mean the D didn't regress.
I figured the D would regress this year just from losing Willis. He was a wrecking ball up the middle and changed a lot of plays. Losing 2 senior safeties to the nfl is also a pretty big deal. I'm not an x's and o's guru but those 3 guys helped a lot.
