BJ article on young players in bowl

Not giving our most dynamic athletes, and best stable of players, the chance to make plays and score points because of blitz pickups and multiplicity of defense is why Enos is a ***galoon and why we will never get better on offense. How hard is it to give these guys a chance to make a play?

Enos, on the three receivers signed Wednesday (Daz Worsham, Xavier Restrepo and Michael Redding):

“Love them. Xavier has great short-area quickness, good lower-body power, explosive, tremendous ball skills. I like receivers that play defense and tackle and show toughness. Xavier did that.

What in the **** does this even mean?

That X is a tough SOB and will clock a DB trying to tackle him.

Enos said the challenge for freshmen running backs “is grasping multiplicity of defenses... between run game and protection stuff, you’re seeing 100 times more than you did on defense [in high school]. To play fast, you’ve got to know what you’re doing."

“The thing these guys are going to have an advantage of is we have good veteran running backs so they may not have to carry the load like a third-down blitz pickup early. So when you put them out there you can let them do what they do best, which is carry the ball, catch the ball. Those are natural instinctive things running backs can do. Those guys are talented enough to contribute when they get here. They’re both very bright, have an extremely bright future.”

Yall know what this means right?...

He's not going to get intimidated, or pushed around by physical DB's.

EDIT:
or...how valuable he'll be when _____(insert QB) throws another INT.

Receivers that play both ways. I also like dbs that have also played receiver. Nothing wrong with the quote.

I’m confused by this thread. What are y’all gathering out of the Enos quotes?
Take what you know about Enox, his philosophy, the way he likes to use personnel, then read the quotes again as it pertains to the RB's.

yeah he contradicts himself saying he has veterans so they won’t have to worry about blitz pickup which technically means they won’t play cause they aren’t going to get first down snaps....but he goes on to say they are talented and we free to just run when they are in. Who knows with him anymore
