not sure if mentioned, but i'd have to assume with getting the recent 3 guys from there recruiting out there should be high on our priority list the next few classes. Obviously the Tri-County Area and the state of Florida will be our main ground, but getting the top 3 guys from that school in recent memory should help us with kids out there. Pretty much the west coast St. Thomas correct?

Side Note: this wouldn't hurt with west coast guys in general.

i'm liking #TNM

Let’s just hope these west coast kids aren’t soft! No one plays D out there (wash huskies maybe). Just saying

Looks good though so far for sure

Sad that we have more players from Gorman than we do from St. Thomas. Dont know if that is more of an indictment of CMR or Harriott.

It's an indictment on the elite South Florida athlete mentality. Most top kids here in Vegas aren't getting the local attention like they do down there in Florida.

Organized football and 7on7s are not big events. Locally, people pay more attention to who Gorman is playing out of state. Anything competition in-house is brushed off as a Gorman-win, why-bother case.

OL as always in south Florida and basically the entire state overall is ****ed. D line is actually pretty deep next cycle

I was talking more about the Bishop Gorman potential pipeline.. do they have any good OL/DL trench bullies we can hopefully ramp up recruiting on

Just looked at 247 and it seems like 2017 and 2018 were just great classes for Bishop Gorman. 2016 2019 and 2020 list some 3 stars but that is about it. I wouldn't compare them to STA. Maybe more like Columbus or Champagnant

Even if BG doesn't have a star, if the staff can indentify one guy that can be a role player I would recruit him, just to keep the flow coming. And the 6'7 TE should receive an offer immediately

We don’t

Huff
munoz
Harley
Irvin
Blades

And obv Bruce was at UM too
Even so, only five guys from a local power house, that provides half a dozen or more P5 guys every year, is kind of weak

I do a lot with recruits and evuals on the wear coast and they appear to be down the next couple of years (down for normal BG standards).

Desert Pines actually has better young talent right now. But there are rumors that BG is about to get an influx of transfers.

I'll go to a couple games this year. I would like to see that DP's TE too. BG always gets transfers as you say.

For o line in florida: rivers from oakleaf, jovier from champagnat, denis from south dade are 3 excellent prospects in state.
