I never understood this thinking. Just because someone failed at something doesn’t make them less competent. Some people just shine in reduced roles. Not all coaches are meant to be HCs.

Mario doesn’t have know it all, what makes him wise is hiring people that do know. Look I am arguing for or against adding Napier. I am just asking would you entertain it?

There are no permanent friends or enemies in business. Only permanent interest.

Absolutely not.

- SpongeBathBilly is a mediocre, not great recruiter.
- His decision-making skills are extremely questionable.
- His QB (and other key positions) recruiting is horrible.
- He is terrible at analyzing situations and making decisions, and then executing on them.
- He cannot count the correct numbers of players to put on the field.

I could go on, but that should be enough. I wouldn’t let him near the program even if he paid us.

Florida has talent, yes.

Florida does not have DEPTH of talent.

As a Miami fan, you should understand the difference and what that looks like, and what kind of coach produces those results. It’s fools gold.

This is a fair point. Still, I hope we don't hire fired Napier.
