This is a Miami board. Not a **** board so be clear about what you are saying. Otherwise, just keep it to yourself.

Every team and coaching staff goes through the medical stuff. We had it here with Manny and D’Erik King. TVD and Mario, etc, etc.

Well pipo, this is a publicly viewable forum at which those who are registered can create a thread within a forum. This thread was created by a registered user and I chose, as a registered user, to contribute to said thread.

Billy Napier’s job status is quite applicable to our situation for a multitude of reasons. One of those being the potential effect on our roster by either the portal, recruiting, and or both.

I’ve made it clear there is a systematic issue which runs from Napier, to team physicians, players, and hands on training staff. Again, this issue has run into an unstoppable force, aka a parent who is a member of their hall of fame who has a kid on the team. A kid who comes from a part of the state where they’ve killed us in recruiting for ages and a program which is a powerhouse in the state. Not to mention someone we offered and wanted.

It’s one thing for kids to play through pain. That’s expected. It’s quite the other to coerce and by some other means force medical staff to clear players, and in this instance a particular player to play when not medically cleared (eventual 3rd party involvement verifying it) in a meaningless game potentially endangering not only their livelihood on the field, but also off it. Having sawed off trainers and doctors physically threaten kids with the understanding the general philosophy is coming from Napier himself.

You have $65m in buyout and another $20m to pay for him and his staff? Mario is here a minimum of 6 years no matter what. We are cooked if he can’t recruit at a top 8 level every year and already year 2 full class he isn’t going to do that.
 
They will give him at least another year. We all were bagging on Novell and his **** record and poor recruiting and now he has sadly gotten to 10 wins the last two years, probably the playoff and a top 5 class. Hoping to not see this same turnaround with Napier but UF will use FSU is the case study.
