The guy in the video is wrong about multiple things.

I don't disagree that college athletics will eventually end up being owned by rich ******** and private equity groups consisting of rich ********, like everything else in the world, but nothing else he said was correct.

NIL spending was not capped at 20 million.

His 20 million number is the "up to" revenue sharing number that schools can use to pay players.

NIL is soft capped at $600. Anything above $600 will have to be approved by the clearinghouse for "fair market value."

A little research would go a long way. But I guess he probably doesn't get to 120k followers by using facts. Its easier to post a catchy headline and make the rest up.

The courts will immediately strike down any cap on NIL. There is no objective fair market value. It is always in the eye of the buyer.
No one call tell me how much an autograph should be worth to me. The NCAA is delusional if they think this will hold up in court.

Check that last sentence. The NCAA is not delusional, it is just represented by some of the worst attorneys in the world. Not just America; the world.

This is why we need a font for sarcasm. This post was sarcastic, and very funny in that regard. But it is obvious from the extreme language that it was meant to be sarcastic. The laughing emojis are the correct response to a well written joke. Well done my friend. But we still need the font as not everyone will understand the joke.

I'm not confident it was sarcasm, I just hope it was.
