What's there to say? He gave a status update and said he's working on something. Taking what he said at face value, somebody heard something and placed a call to squash the billboard. Why would he say anything now if that was the case? If he posts anything on any other subject, he'll get hounded.

If the billboard was squashed, isn’t there a next step? Like refunds or a continuation of the search with updates. This just doesn’t make a lot of sense. To be clear, I am just curious. Humans are curious by nature. Not attacking or making fun of either side. Just don’t get where things are going.

Right, he said earlier there was a next step but he wasn't letting the cat out of the bag.

I'll be patient. I know things take time to set up. It would've been nice to add to the pressure when Highsmith was still in play, but those BOT members who aren't happy aren't going to be satisfied with just an OC when they know James is the problem. So a billboard will still give those people ammo.
