Biggest upgrade versus last year

There were several things but I feel like actual quality depth. Hard for me to say something like tackling when it's an opponent like that. Let's see when we have to tackle faster Athletes while getting pushed around with a team more talented next week

LBs are the most improved unit on this team. It’s been a long time, but we finally seem to finally have some guys that belong as prototype Miami LBs.

Obviously, the offense coordinator.
That 19pts per game, Gattis trash speed and space offense was the worst that ever came through Miami. A dead cat calling plays would be an upgrade over Gattis.

From a personnel standpoint.
The entire OL without a doubt!
It really is amazing what a difference a good OL does for an offense. ( And same can be said for DL on defense )
I played HS ball and was a skilled guy and mostly focus on skilled positions when watching a game. None of it works without the OL, and you only really realize it when your OL sucks.

LB is the next biggest upgrade. We have some LBs that can play the position. Not great, but good.
I think we still lack experienced depth . ( Sorry, but Flag is still not it), I know he gets a lot of hate on here and I don’t want to knock the kid. He is not Glen Cook bad, but he’s not very good. First play I noticed him, was him shooting the wrong gap, getting turned and washed and the back ripped off a 39 yard run, with no one within 10 yards of his gap responsibility.
That has been the consistent LB play here at Miami for the last few years. I think we now at least have LBs that have the physical ability to play the position.

We were so bad last year, it would be difficult to imagine being any worse, but the whole team looks a lot better from top to bottom IMO.

Team pursuit and tackling on defense. They looked completely different than the past 5 years.

Kiko... dude is the real deal. His length, speed and IQ is something we haven't seen in some time. At a position that means so much to the defense.

Flagg couldn't play that close to the line without major risk. It is a massive upgrade. To me its on the same level as FSU with and without Travis.

Speed and athleticism looked different across the board. I’m not yet sure about the passing game it was very sluggish. That is the biggest concern.
