Let’s keep this game in perspective. FSU is bad and still trying to find their footing as their program crashed down once Jimbo departed.
It’s always a fun game just bc of the history and the rivalry itself but we cannot think winning today makes Diaz anymore capable to keep his job. Winning big just means we have more talent which we do and they suck which they do. If we somehow lose even with a bad coach he shouldn’t make the trip back to Coral Gables.
I’m dug in on this and nothing he can do save his job in my eyes. He still runs this defense whose being gashed and lost to FIU, La Tech and has embarrassed himself with childish antics. Full circle would be FSU actually beating him after his recruiting weekend party crash and then cigars last year. I don’t want to see it but it may be what finally does this clown in.!

Get with it brother. Real Canes fans want us to loose out. We want real coaches, preferably with FIU ties. We want proven winners (ie. 59-58 guy at Oregon or the the ex Browns HC) We also want a QB that has a show on Netflix not Amy and Bills kid...

And we will be one step closer to getting a former FIU coach. 😀 Because 7 wins in a row and possible Coastal is to low of a standard.

Exactly. They don't get it.

We then have the #1 recruiting class of 2022. Then win out next year. Win the Coastal. Win the ACC Championship for the first time. Beat Oklahoma in playoffs. Beat Bama in championship game. Get ring #6. TVD wins the Heisman. Manny is coach of the year. Saban retires because Manny boatraced him in the title game and he realizes his time is up. Bama offers Manny 12 mil a year. Manny turns them down because Miami is his home. #1 recruiting class again in 2023. TVD back to back heisman. Back to back national championships. Fins hire him and he wins a superbowl the next year.

They just don't get it man. All of that. And they'll still be never-Manny guys.

Nope. He can kick rocks if luck happens to fall into his lap, or not. He is not magically going to become a good coach. Why do you guys keep thinking there’s a good coach hiding in there that’s suddenly going to appear? There’s not.

Brother I hear you. It's astounding to me that people would actually consider hiring someone that, over the last 4 years, is 33-10, won the Pac 12 twice, won the Rose Bowl, and is currently ranked 3rd overall in the nation. Oh and had the #6 ranked recruiting last year and will finish top 10 again this year.

They should be happy we have a guy that loses to FIU and LA Tech and also fails to win the ACC Coastal even though he has the most experienced team in the country and has been leading this defense for the last 6 years yet find themselves playing a walk-on at LB which is also the position he specializes in. Insane brother.....INSANE!
