The defensive play where the pass to the flat and 2 defenders came up and attacked was crazy good. Fast and aggressive. Didn’t mean much in the game but bodes well for the future.

Last year our DB would wait for the runner to come to them. This year both attacked.

The false start that stalled their drive making them settle for 3 was huge. That being said, I think we make the stop there anyway. It looked like the D was going to blow it up.

But yeah, SO many big plays made that we haven't made in the past. Not over and over like that. Just unreal. Our execution, after the slow start, was something else. We looked like a talented, disciplined team, minus some penalties. A team that trusts their coaches to put them in a position to make plays. That by itself give me hope moving forward.
It's hard to argue with any of these, honestly. But yeah, TAMU just had a 12 play, 6 minute drive to only get 3 for us to then turn around and get 7 in about 10 seconds. Brutal.

The fact we're having this conversation is critical on its own. We just kept taking hits and hitting back harder. Bodes well for the season if we can keep that attitude and approach. ALL of the plays were critical; we're just discussing which was MOST critical...and I can't tell a single person who voted that they are wrong.

As @DMoney said over the weekend, now we see how they handle success.

Special teams tds especially at the moment it came just hit a team differently momentum wise

looking at that list.. there only winner is us. What a ******* amazing game to be at. This is gonna be fun boys!

Long pass over the middle to Restrepo. We looked dead and buried up till then. Energized the whole team.

I couldn't decide between George before half and Brashard's KO return. George was huge to keep that confidence going into halftime. After how everything transpired to start the game, coming back to take the lead was such a big deal for a team that has recently been known to crumble with any sign of adversity.

Meanwhile, the KO return from Brashard came after A&M came out of half and put together a big drive to cut the lead to 1. Felt like Momentum might shift back their way if we didn't get points on the next drive and then Brashard just comes out and makes a house call.

Can't go wrong with either choice there.

Good/fun poll, all hinges on how you define "biggest"

Restrepo giving us 50 yards when we were down 10-0 was huge and brought some life back to the stadium and team, helped settle us down.
Horton with a big counter punch TD gave the team the most confidence
Smith KO return deflated A&M's little confidence they built the drive before
J Davis fumble really sealed the game.

Been a LONG time (honestly prob since ND) we can say we were way more physical than a team supposedly known for physicality and legit everyone had a hand in the win.

3rd & 7 on our own 28 -> Cam McCormick 20 yard completion over the middle.

Pretty sure it was Tyler’s 3rd or 4th read as well. Led to the FG to make it a 2 possession game.

One that went under the radar that was huge.

Thank you OP for reminding me how awesome that game was. Playmakers make plays.

For me it was Horton, just because we had our backs to the wall and that was the first true counterpunch of the game, IMHO. It also showed that TVD could connect with anyone anywhere on the field. Program changing IMHO. But I can respect why others like some of the other options as much or more.

Hard to choose… I went with the X play because it felt like it allowed everyone to take a deep breath as we had gone 3and out a couple of times.

But all of those plays felt like amazing counter punches needed to keep momentum in our favor. Amazing to rewatch the game and see those plays happen to counter a TAMU body punch

Slight edge to Horton. You could feel the energy leaving the stadium after George dropped that punt and atm scored. Needed that score big time
That play was sick! That route was crispy and the catch was even better & then he broke the tackle and scored! I’m like **** this dude is sick! Needs to learn the playbook for more PT but you draw up a play for him and he’s the 1st option and knows his route, he eating!

Kind of cynical, but Evan Stewart not turning up field on that crosser in their redzone was a massive mistake for them. They likely score and it would have been 14-0 instead of 10-0. We scored the next drive but they would have been up 21-7 after the muffed punt instead of 17-7… single plays can really change games

True.

But since you brought up Stewart, he got the **** blowed up multiples. Lol

For sure we caught a break there, but they caught a break with the muffed punt and the bad punt blocking.

Jaden/Kam for me.

Obviously a perfect shot by Jaden. But Kam’s relentless pursuit of the ball isn’t getting enough credit. He wanted that ball so **** bad and played it so perfect. Thing of beauty.
