BIG TEN flexing

My thread is about how the Big Ten is winning and Mich St and OSU dominated. It’s more about the dog fight we have on our hands and less about how I somehow love the big ten.

Some serious inferiority complexes around here.

PAC 12 looking weak but Mich St and OSU both man handling their opponents.
O
Ready for a dog fight tomorrow night!!
Reasonable assumption. But, posters do not want to read anything negative about the Canes. Therefore numerous down votes.

Original Cane is def a left wing nut lib. He sees something he doesn’t agree with or like and goes on a tantrum. Typical left wing *****

Is this supposed to funny? Embarrassing.

Not anywhere near as embarrassing as sucking off the Big Ten and starting a thread about it on a canes fan site. That shlt right there is the definition of embarrassing.

Conference talk happens yearly during the bowl games.

Would you take issue if the BigWhatever had lost all their games and a thread was started about it? SEC poor results, or whomever sucking out there?

You know it's about the Big 10, it says so in the title. I guess I missed the moderator handle where you get a say in what people post. Keep it going though, you constantly display what a miserable person you clearly are. You've been doing so for years.

P.s. Can you please post what is acceptable for posting.

I would find it acceptable if you stopped with your whiny posts altogether. You sound like a teenage girl on her period.

Did you miss the part where people post stuff and then other people post what they think about it it?

This is a canes fan site, correct?

Personally, I think the Big Ten sucks. I think starting threads about them sucks. If it was up to me, I would outlaw them. The SEC as well. If that offends you, you can start a thread about that, and then I’ll post about how that sucks.

See how it all works.

Pot meet kettle.

Were you not whining about this thread? Look at your history, nothing but a bunch of crying over what other people write.

Here's some advice, step away and find something in life that makes you happy. This won't do it for you.

why do people feel the need to bring politics into the forum

Lesser teams in the conference won too.

Iowa over BC
Northwestern over UK
Purdue over Arizona

Penn State will probably beat Washington as well. Only question for me is Michigan against South Carolina. In the end it will look like a dominant bowl season for the Big Ten regardless of what happens in our game with Wisconsin. But by being left out of the playoff, it basically means they're all playing one spot down. If OSU was in the playoff, then USC, Miami, and Washington would all still be playing Big Ten teams, but we'd all be playing a team that finished one spot worse. Maybe USC vs. Penn State gets a different result. Maybe Washington vs. Wisconsin gets a different result. Maybe Miami vs. Michigan State gets a different result. Who knows though? Ultimately, you have to play the teams they put in front of you. And credit to the Big 10 for winning all their matchups, even if they were favorable matchups.

Nah we probably would've been playing Bama in the Orange Bowl if Ohio State would've gotten that playoff spot.

Tantrum?

My initial response was a measured little joke about having died and gone to ****.

Which elicited a ****y little whine festival from you.

Apparently you wanted only dead serious responses up there in the cold and lonely Midwest.

Also, only simple-minded midwestern folk like you would think they can actually deduce somebody’s political affiliations from a post about the shltty Big Ten. Stick to sports and leave the politics out, you’re not looking too good on this.

Someone didn’t watch the UK game at all

You should google Snell ejected to see Kentucky’s best player get tossed for absolutely nothing.
Then watch UK QB get tackled into their bench in FG range. No flag on NW as Johnson goes to locker room. Oh wait Stoops asks where flag is and gets 15

It’s rare when announcers are trashing officials at half. It happened on this one.

I don’t really agree w Stoops going for 2 for win w 0:37 left and the weird onside kick they tried.
But Y’all really shouldn’t count that win over 7-5 UK as BigTen flexing its muscle.

That Snell ejection was the most egregious I'd have ever seen. Made me question if Terry Porter was officiating that game.

It was probably a RELATIVE of Porter.:11263364213_e8bdef3

That ejection was bizarre. And it was like the refs were all on LSD throughout the game as a whole. Utterly inconsistent and unpredictable.

But NU lost Thorsen which was a big deal - Thorsen's a legit NFL prospect - but adjusted really well with a senior QB who's only seen the field during garbage time during a few games. And Kentucky really didn't have an answer for Northwestern's run game.

Entertaining game, and fun for me as a kinda/somewhat Northwestern fan. They play in a glorified high school stadium, get virtually no attention in the local media, and have nevertheless somehow managed to build a pretty solid program. And, of course, encouraging to see the "weak" B1G West teams the Badgers beat winning some nice bowl games.

Pat Fitzgerald is an incredible coach. Seems like a decent fellow in everyday life as well.

Banner year for The Ten, no doubt.

If the playoffs play out the way I suspect (with OU and Clemson winning), that combined with the big ten dominating in the bowls will make the committee look foolish for leaving out a Power 5 conference champion.

Interestingly to me, the USC - Ohio state and Penn State - U Dub games both made it appear like the Pac12 teams looked small and frail compared to each of those Big Ten teams. Pac12 fixing to go 1-8 unless Washington can come back.

A lot of Big 10 **** slobbing going on in this thread. Guess we shouldn't even bother to show up tonight.

More like.... A lot of bowl game data gathered this week says the big ten is strong this year. We better show up YUGE tonight.

Anyone notice that both the PSU and UW centers have an unusual style for snapping the ball in the shotgun? Both are essential grabbing the point of the football and pitching it backwards (ball is at 60 degree angle) without spin. Is that the trend now for centers?
