Sorry but 3 of Reneau’s 5 fouls were fraudulent. The officiating was fraudulent. This team is not fraudulent. I honestly expected it to be fraudulent but it is not.

The fifth “foul” both of Reneau’s hands came down on the ball that the Clemson player left totally exposed (his left arm was behind the ball and both Reneau’s hands came down on ball). Maybe not smart by Reneau but it was actually perfectly clean.

Holding Clemson to 69 points is impressive.
Sadly, Miami played their worst offensive game all season.
First conference loss in a sold out Arena on the road is a good building block for future success.
I expect a better effort Tuesday against Florida State as long as they aren't exhausted from celebrating Miami winning the National Championship game on Monday.

I don’t disagree, but at some point it’s beyond the officials when the same player is in and out of foul trouble repeatedly

Better teams are going to get him there without the help of officials— there may have been some flopping, but he bull rushed on offense at least 2 more non calls and had to keep his hands out of the cookie jar there.
 
I'm not concerned. Clemson is good and it was at their place. Tre and Tru will snap back.

Our inaccuracy from behind the 3 pt arc is no surprise. Many posting here have recognized that from the jump. Not much to be done about it now.

Dante played almost Starter minutes (21) today and I sure wouldn't give any of those to Malovec at this point. Shelton had a nice game for sure.
 
I think we will bounce back and grow from this. Little concerning we really haven't beaten anyone of substance yet, but we will get there
 
That was an incredible disappointing loss and only Henderson, Udeh, and Allen showed up. I will give Donaldson a pass as he has been fantastic most of the games. As fas as Washington is concerned he is a hustler but turns the ball over way too much and can't dribble. He does not have a good shot from meduim to long range and he is the ultimate BRICKLAYER but still continues to launch shots. Coach Lucas needs to politely tell him to stop shooting from the perimeter. Unfortunately, Malovic is in the same context as being a horrible shooter. He is suppose to be a 3 point shooter and that's quite a joke. Dante Allen needs to play much more.

I think that people have forgotten what this team was supposed to be coming in and changed their expectations, despite there being no evidence of anything changing. This roster has some huge flaws, especially in regards to perimeter shooting.

When you have to win rockfights(Because you can't shoot), it's tough to do that against good teams, especially when you lack depth. Miami is a team that has 6 guys that belong on an ACC floor. Everyone else is iffy at best. #11 was a complete whiff, he just isn't useful. How can someone that is 6'10 play 10+ minutes a night and get 1 board a night most nights? He's a waste of size, period. Not having Allen available hurts this team in multiple ways, he was legit depth and someone that could provide some spark.
