Big Game Brad

Kaayak and Richrt are a match made in Satan's asssshole. This is the perfect storm of inept offense.

He will be a good nfl qb imo, richt is putting him in terrible spots

I hate to say this i want mark to bring us back so bad but id be lying if as a gambler i have watched so many games that richt just plain dont have balls and he ***** himself in big games now he leads a team that already has a confidence problem i want to believe so bad

Huh? Can u imagine Von Miller rounding the edge & bearing down on ole cement feet? Scary thought

This hate is in my opinion slightly misguided.

Yes, Kaaya has not been good. But he's not being put in a position to succeed. Richt's scheme and play calling have him behind the 8 ball before the ball is even snapped.

Did Richt throw the ball 2 yards over a wide open Walton and 2 yards behind a wide open Njoku on td plays that we ended up getting nothing?

I said Kaaya hasn't been good. He had some very bad misses today.

But this is not all on him.

Jitters vs FAU
INT in end zone vs App St
INT in end zone vs FSU
Throw behind Njoku on 4th and 1 TD
Miss of Wide Open AR

All on him. All.

I'm starting to believe that Brad doesn't have the "it" factor. I really want him to be successful but the results (or lack thereof) speak for themselves.

Kaaya's hype was from Pete Ariz who is great at getting the scoop but has no clue about football. James Corley probably whispered in his ear how he found the next tom brady and ariz got hyped. Don't blame the kid, but the myth of brad kaaya started then.

with that said, Urban Meyer could win with Kaaya. So could most of the elite coaches. It's called coaching for a reason. The job isn't just recruit during the offseason and then watch the kids play.

I find myself asking these questions:
Is this because Richt is not a good OC and/or the game passed him by?
Is it Richt's conservative/predictable play calling?
Does our Offense lack creativity?
Is it on the OL?
Is Kaaya overrated?

Yeah that play Richt called that got our extra point blocked against FSU was horrible.

The hype behind kaaya has been nothing but wishful thinking. Time to move on.

Easier said than done. How do we move on do you really think Kaaya is going pro? Do you really think someone is going to beat out Kaaya even if it is an open competition? Just face it we are stuck with him for another year. Let's just hope he gets better in the offseason.

Yall motherphuckers are either blind or dumb. I agree we need to drop the RPOs. To say that kaaya was great under Coley and not under Richt is just not true. This is the same ole Kaaya. Consist bad decisions or poor throws on 3rd down. Consistently doesn't step up when it counts. Heck, even Stephen Morris stepped up at the end of an occasional game. Kaaya is average. It's safe to say he has not lived up to the hype.

Returned 10 offensive starters and Brad, the OL, and the whole offense looks worse. In fact, Brad looks worse then he did as a true FR. I wonder why?

Urban didn't recruit Kaaya and for good reason. Not his type of QB. Truth is the kid wouldn't play at OSU or Bama or any elite team we watch on a weekly basis. Who really wanted him coming out? UCLA made a run late but he was basically ignored by big West Coast schools.

I hate to say it but

it's time to bench him

just rewatched the duke/miami highlights from last year and rosier can handle this RPO offense

Lead-footed QB's rarely carry their teams to national titles at the collegiate level. Who was the last, Matt Leinart?

Bunch of whiny *** bamas in this thread and on the board the last few weeks. Find it amazing that everyone is jumping ship cause of the last two losses and trashing kids. What happened to it's not right to throw a kid under the bus? I mean you guys on here eviscerate coaches who do that, but it's ok for all you keyboard gangstas to do so?

Every Bama QB until this year, Chris Leak. i'll ask you this, outside of Cam and an Urban Meyer coached team name me the spread QB who has won a title

Uh, Bama QB's are largely irrelevant to their success. Those teams have been carried by their defenses and Mark Ingram, Eddie Lacy and Derrick Henry.

Not sure why this has changed into spread vs. pro-style. Pro-style QB's like Jameis Winston can make plays with their feet and extend drives. I wouldn't consider the guy we played yesterday as lead-footed either. Extended a lot of plays and converted third downs with his legs. I'd take their QB over ours.
