I was thinking that too, but then again he was just in the college playoff

he does just enough to stay hired
 
Stoops and Oklahoma both need a fresh start. Not unlike Richt and Georgia needed to part ways last season.
 
Lots of coaches need a change of scenery. Maybe it's time for Bob to try the pros

If he leaves OU for another college gig, it's UF. It won't happen this season. They've danced before and he was their first choice internally when urban left.

he certainly is a top tier coach. he's won a NC and made it to the playoffs last year. let's not overract to him losing to a top three team. he's going nowhere. he would want to leave, for it to happen.

I still think Stoops is a good coach, maybe top 10 in cfb. He just needs a change of scenery.

And maybe fire Mike Stoops as DC and hire Mark when UK fires him.
 
I hope he stays there or goes out west. He will be problematic if he comes to an sec or ACC school. We are going to have problems with petrino for years to come! We are fully back next year it's great to be a Miami Hurricane!!

Yeah keep Stoops away from Florida, as well as the SEC/ACC. He'd get a lot of hype to whatever program he went to. Let the gaytes hold onto McEltooth.
