What's the controversy? The officials missed a split second judgement call that can't be reviewed, and ADs aren't allowed to comment publicly on officiating.

It's a shame how referees are made out to be some unquestioned force of nature on the football field. These are men and they need to be held accountable for their actions. The referees should have post game press conferences as well where they can be put on the spot.

That's lame. Officials ARE held accountable. Have you ever had a profession? Discipline isn't done publicly.
