Some absolutely wild upset calls here. My man @Memnon you either have a twisted sense of humor or you let them hang and don't give a **** what anyone thinks. Either way I dig it.

Still working on my larger parlay bets, but I think to kick it off I'm gonna take a 4 leg parlay on tonights games 8/28 for the winners, and a 2 leg parlay on the underdogs. I also will always bet the Underdogs straight up on smallish bets, so I'll do that as well.
 
I lost in heartbreaking fashion my Hurricanes to win the ACC +400 bet last season, but had a profitable year overall. These are some of the plays (via Hard Rock bet) I like for 2026:

Texas UNDER 9.5 wins +145

Texas schedule is difficult, @ OSU, @ UF, @ UGA, Red River Rivalry, & Texas A&M. I’m expecting 3 losses there. I will take Florida ML & spread for that game as well, Oklahoma is a look ahead spot.

Miami Hurricanes to win ACC +390

Mario Cristobal has out recruited the ACC 3 years in a row, and has the best QB in the conference, I expect them to meet Clemson in the ACC championship game.

I got Miami going 10-2 losses @ SMU & vs Louisville.

Penn State to win Big 10 +220

Top team in returning production in the conference, I don’t love the QB, but the pieces around him are good. Ohio State is replacing 9 defensive starters, Michigan has an 18 yr old QB, & Oregon is battling injuries. It’s all set up for them this year.

LSU to Win SEC +700

I got LSU going 10-2 and playing in Atlanta vs Georgia. A caveat is I expect them to lose to Clemson week 1, which wouldn’t affect their chances for conference championship, so I will place this bet AFTER they lose to get better odds. Only tough road games for LSU @ Bama & @ Clemson.

I’ve got Canes ACC +400. I agree everyone penciling Clemson in like they didn’t lose 3 regular season games last year. Lost to UL at home which we managed on the road.

Can’t decide on Clemson/LSU. I go back and forth every day so I’m just going to stay away

If LSU loses, on the road to a team many are predicting will win a national championship, in a non-conference game, their SEC odds are going to get worse? You understand bookmakers aren't mentally handicapped, correct?

I actually don't mind the bet, they're not going to win the league but at +700, it's a decent bet. I think Alabama wins the SEC this year, and they were much higher all summer than the +380 they're at now, so I'm not playing it.

I took GT/Colorado under 53.5 a couple days ago. Line is down to 51.5, don't like that one quite as much but if you need some action tonight, that's my favorite play of the evening.
