One of the Post Gaz writers alludes to another backyard brawl type scenario awaiting UM (when WV was going for the ship & Pitt ruined it all...beat up on them by 31 points). As the cheer went back in the day...**** ON PITT. GO CANES!

We back literally means we are every team's super bowl. That means EVERY team will bring their A game. When we are truly back we need miracles by Ed Reed against crappy Boston College teams. When we are absolutely back Huerta has to kick 2 field goals in the 4th to squeak by a crappy Michigan State team 26-20.

GFTO with that crap. We back means EVERY game, every quarter, ever down is important AF b/c the opponent lives to be able to say I beat "X" on that play back in 2017. To this day I know a guy who brags about how he locked down Perriman in a game he lost by 30 plus points.

For the last time, BC was not a “crappy” team.
 
We need to take everyone serious. We are not stacked with talent and depth everywhere yet. We can't take games off. With that said, we should roll...
 
They have kids on scholarship there as well and Friday will be the game to save their season so they will be hyped. If we sleep walk through the first half we risk losing.

Even with all the struggles, Miami never stopped being a big win, just because it was Miami. Every game this year has been a different challenge. This week will be the cold and not looking ahead to Clemson.
 
We always play well in this game. I expect a strong start and a solid all around game. Canes 45 Pitt 17
 
Larry Scott went there and won, not concerned. we need to smash these mtfs quick and get back to miami so we can prepare for clemson.

But they also lost to GT, UNC, VT, and Cuse so how that play into this line of thinking? If i remember correctly these dude have only beat us once in 10 years and that was against an Al Golden coached team.

Pitt lost to Syracuse, Va Tech and Ga Tech all common opponents....

Everyone will always treat us like the national championship game
