naH man, its about a decade and a half of the same old ****. seeing it happen after a bout of hope, again, is cause for legit concern and identification.

want nothing more than to have threads about romps and stroking our coaches and players of what they DELIVER.

Not seeing it. Seeing quite the opposite. learned to during shamnon, gokden, really learned to under richt, and yeah here we are again.

seriously tell me you see a team that is ready for the acc.

I've been a fan during this entire 15-year stretch of mediocrity and have been just as frustrated as the rest of us... And there's nothing wrong with voicing frustration with the team's play. But c'mon, this weekly furious circle jerk is a big waste of energy. Watch the games and discuss what you saw, good or bad -- you don't have to make sweeping apocalyptic pronouncements all the time.

The "this will be our last win" and "I'm done with this season" type threads are totally toxic -- like what, you're not even going to watch the VT game? And then the "I called it after UF, Enos is trash" and "Manny was a lazy hire, I knew it from the beginning" type threads are even worse.... Just clowns on the internet wanting to attack something and feel smart.
 
No doubt - this isn’t a good sign. Thankfully much of the Coastal is awful too but this was a terrible, terrible performance and gives me little optimism.
 
With all this negativity we will get what the majority of this board is asking for. Man I hate negative energy. We might just need some 3-9 seasons for this board to start displaying positive energy.
 
Aah, we will still win 4, maybe 5.

And not sure if that implicates our conference. Because the whole......

" You better bring your A game!". Should be followed up with..While our conference brings their B game!

in the first four weeks of this year, and the bowl game results of last year....

Conference is not that tough at all, besides Clemson.

Miami looking at maybe 7-5.

No "sunshine" but ****, I know I DON'T wanna KEEP talking about how EVERYBODY on here knew this was a bad/lazy hire. Or how inept this coaching staff is. Or how sucky the players/units are. I mean, I feel like yall. I'm sick of losing and have been since the Randy/Golden days but complaining week after week about something that CLEARLY isn't going to change anytime soon gets tiring.

I'm not saying don't discuss it, but in EVERY thread? Even when people try to shine a little positivity? Not everyone is one extreme or the other. I'm just dealing with this b/c I can't change a thing. I'm gonna cheer for the guys and pray changes are made in the offseason. We ALL wanna win (i hope) but saying the same thing over and over clearly isn't helping either...

IDK, guess we're at an impasse. Just know, nobody's "pumping sunshine" just sick of the same things being said over and over

however, still asking legit question: you think this team is ready fir the acc?

dline isn't that good.
jdub is not jesus. no deep ball. still overprocessing.
penos is showing serious stubborness.

To have to sweat out a win over the Central Michigan Chippewas is a disgrace.

The fact that the offense couldn’t score on these people after the First drive, for all intents and purposes, is a fact that should be enough to give Enos his walking papers.

The fact that we had so many penalties during a “tune up” game is an indictment of the entire coaching staff, from Manny on down. The staff has an unwillingness to emphasize discipline and penalize those who are undisciplined with a place on the pine bench.

Completely agree -- if they play like this, they're going to get smoked in a mediocre ACC. Now, I don't necessarily have a reason to believe they'll improve... but I'm a fan so I'm not going to sit here and act like it's a foregone conclusion that they go 3-9. Yesterday was rough to watch and inspired zero faith, but I'm going to let the games play out... It's football, weird things happen

But not guaranteed. After watching this, can any of you sunshine pumpers guarantee what games we will win? And don’t even think about going by talent on paper, because that matters little to an underperforming team.
