First of all….. this is an excellent question! My impulse is to slide with Marty-Mar. Kid has done an excellent job for us. However, my vote is for Thomas. And for this reason…..

Not to take away from what Brown has done, but our RB room is talented! A combo of Fletcher, Lyles (when healthy) and Pringle (given more opportunities), could/should produce similar results. We don’t have anyone on the roster who can do what Thomas has done consistently! He’s been a sure tackler and has erased multiple plays that previously, would’ve have been big plays for the opposition. I love Fitz! His potential is through the roof…. But lil homie’s physicality isn’t on the Thomas level “yet”.

Again… this debate is a good debate. I love all of our transfers. But Thomas sticks out to me.

Bain, Toure and Thomas bring violence at each level, it's fun to watch.

I gotta say Toure at least from a run defense and what seems to be a leadership in the middle. He's probably the quietest success we have. Not great in coverage but ain't his thing.

Do Bonner or O Connor play?

O'Connor is the 3rd/4th CB out there, plays a ton. Bonner may have played vs. Bethune, not sure. But NC State thought he would start for them. Pretty sure we want him as OLB, so Wes and Chase are ahead of him. He'll have plenty of snaps come next season.

Having a battle-hardened veteran QB with an NFL arm commanding the offense is huge. And yeah, he had an off game last night. But where would this team be without him? Would you feel good about going to Doak next week?
