Best time to fire Golden is...

Antwan, you are truly being a moron for sticking to the whole "after one game" mantra. The point is, it isn't one game....it is now 38 games. Literally no change in game-planning and preparation in all that time. The only difference is, he brought in some better players. The thing with that is, he would have to bring in nothing but 5-star studs every year to get this thing above 9 wins, and that **** ain't gonna happen. While the U missed the opportunity to let Al go for the PSU thing, there would be absolutely no problem letting him go now, and bringing in any of the 3 or 4 guys who are currently unemployed, on an interim basis. It sends no message to the next guy, except that you had better be able to back up talk with results.

Once again, if I am the moron, show me the colleges that have let a coach go because he lost the first game of a new season. Until then, don't respond to me with your tough guy "fire his *** now" idiocy that has exactly zero percent chance of happening.

Of course there is no precedent, no right thinking admin would've kept this clown past the PSU thing. I agree that there is 0% of this happening, my point is, it doesn't send the message you think it sends, and there are any number of ways it COULD happen, and turn out successfully.

Which is why you have so many examples to prove that it would work out just fine.

Golden's career at Miami is an EXAMPLE of failure.

You need more?

What's with the semantics, anyway? He's a Dead Man Walking, and the carcass already stinks.

The sooner the better. AG had his shot. Time to go in a different direction.
