Hyped, yes. Good? Not really. Biggest disappointment of a class 4 years later than ANY class we have ever had.

This class is pretty epic. I’ll tell you right now, the biggest program changer will be Lingard. The guy is a threat to go all the way every time he touches the ball. He will change how opposing defenses play against us. We haven’t had that home run threat in a long time. I’d bet he’s starting in no time. I can’t wait.

If we can get good QB play so the D has to respect the pass, he will have room to run. If Rosier is the QB again, our run game will suffer because no one we face will fear him. They will focus on stopping the run and make him try to beat us on his own. Then our fans will cry about our O-line not opening holes.

But I agree, Lingard is a monster that will do great things. He simply isn't a miracle worker. He's a guy that will make a QB's job so much easier, but first the QB needs to do his part.

Dallas is amazing, but he is no Lingard. You’ll see

Dallas may not have the long speed that Lingard has, but he has an incredible burst. He covers 10-15 yard as fast as about anyone I can think of.

Anyway I agree with the others that the most important addition will be the starting QB.

Never said QB wasn’t important. Not sure why that seems to be the message people received. My point is that Lingard is the Dalvin Cook, Amari Cooper, Calvin Ridley, Sony Michel type player that we’ve been missing on recently. If he would have gone somewhere else, this board would be melting down for the next 3 years every time he plays. He is the kind of player that gets Miami attention. That should compete for the Heisman. It’s going to be fun knowing he’s in the backfield every play.

QB is not just important, it’s the MOST important position right now that will change our program from relevant which we were this past season

I’m talking about how huge Lingard is going to be for our program. Bama won the title with Jalen Hurts a few years ago. Is McCarron elite? Congrats, you know QB is a critical position. I knew you were not bright and now it shows. With such a stupid post about Bama. They were superior in every facet of the game vs those teams. Now take a look at what happened this year fool. Where they going to win with Hurst no because they were evenly matched everywhere else except the QB position smart guy.
